  The suit reflects the pushback against the power of the nation’s largest corporations, and especially technology giants like Google, Amazon, Facebook and Apple. Conservatives like President Trump and liberals like Senator Elizabeth Warren have been highly critical of the concentration of power in a handful of tech behemoths.

  Everyone recognizes at this point that Big Tech has gone too far. Big Tech knows that it is failing, since it is in stage four of the MySpace cycle, and wants to be taken over by government so that the owners can take huge payouts and retire. No one cares about dealing with the moronic and antisocial users anymore. Opening up the internet to democracy was a fatal mistake, just like adopting democracy in our society.

• China’s Economy Is Almost Over Covid-19
  

  China’s economy grew 4.9% from a year earlier in the third quarter, slightly missing economists’ estimate of around 5.3%. The soft spots of the Chinese recovery remain what they have been since the economy bottomed out this spring: consumer spending and private investment. Yet both of these hardened noticeably last month. Private investment in fixed assets over the first nine months of 2020 was still down 1.5% compared with the same period of 2019, but that compares with minus 7.3% for the first six months.

  Meanwhile, there are signs that fiscal support is starting to top out. After an enormous jump in the second quarter, overall investment growth by state-controlled firms and in power infrastructure have both leveled off at around 4% and 18% year over year respectively…Households have yet to fully recover from damaging shutdowns this spring—holiday spending over China’s Golden Week holiday in early October was cautious—but retail sales are growing again. They rose 3.3% year over year in September, up from a 1.1% drop as recently as July.

  In a classic Asiatic gambit, China over-stated its pandemic in order to spook the rest of us into panicking and destroying our economies, so that China could rise in the ranks. With a single media deception, they achieve what it took world wars to do for America. However, if we follow the Trump plan and relocalize our industry here, China will find itself in economic free-fall, especially as Europe joins us. Our ideal outcome involves the first world trading only among itself, keeping technology away from the third world. We have enough problems of our own to manage without them being involved, something that only occurred because after the Mongol and Muslim invasions of the middle ages, colonialism came about as a way of discovering the world that apparently would not leave us alone, and brought us exciting plagues like Yersinia pestis.

• Introducing the ‘Great Reset,’ world leaders’ radical plan to transform the economy
  

  At a virtual meeting earlier in June hosted by the World Economic Forum, some of the planet’s most powerful business leaders, government officials and activists announced a proposal to “reset” the global economy. Instead of traditional capitalism, the high-profile group said the world should adopt more socialistic policies, such as wealth taxes, additional regulations and massive Green New Deal-like government programs.

  The world socialist takeover is apparently not a conspiracy theory anymore. After all, world federalism was popular with the Greatest Generation:

  Since the creation of the United Nations in 1945, attempts have been made in Congress to grant it more power, including delegating it with the authority to “deal with disarmament and weapon control”; establishing of world inspection and police forces; transforming the UN General Assembly into a more representative “parliament of man” with legislative powers, including the power to raise revenue through the taxation of international transactions; creating a “Bill of Human Rights”; and strengthening the International Court. In addition to Cranston, other advocates of strengthening the UN included well-known names such as then-Representatives Gerald Ford (R-Mich.) and John F. Kennedy (D-Mass.).

  In 1950, U.S. Senator Charles William Tobey (R-N.H.) introduced a resolution declaring “the sense of Congress that fundamental objective of the United States foreign policy should be (1) ‘to support and strengthen the United Nations’ and (2) ‘to seek its development into a world federation open to all nations with defined and limited powers.’”

  You didn’t think Star Trek just dreamed that one up, do you? It was a standard opinion among the generation which produced its creators and primary writers. It must be socialist in order to get the poorer countries to buy in, and of course, to buy enough votes in democracy to make it work. Who doesn’t want a future where you get a monthly income from the United Nations to do whatever your heart desires? Anyone who has studied history coherently, for starters.

• Region’s workforce is older and less educated than state or nation
  

  “Northeastern Pennsylvania is home to a disproportionately large percentage of workers at or above the age of 45, while lagging behind the rest of Pennsylvania and the United States among workers between the ages of 25 and 44,” Ooms said.

  It seems that modernity kills off populations. They get wealthy, become fixated on themselves, and stop doing things like starting families and having lots of kids. Then they die out. Their leaders, who have promised the votards tons of free stuff, look around desperately: where to get new taxpayers? If they import the third world, they can have permanent power, and therefore can “create” those entitlements out of thin air with systems like socialism. This transition further destroys the original population, and so soon you have lots of smiling brown faces who are getting fifty cents a month in benefits and living in dirt poverty because the economy contributes nothing anymore.

  All across the first world we are seeing the same thing: get wealthy, liberalize, people become atomized, and then you have no families and the population dies out. Civilization is a trap if you take it too far!

  You can see this death cycle in Canada:

  The housing market in Canada has been supported by population growth, averaging one per cent for much of the last 50 years or so. Since the last census, the growth rate has increased as Canada significantly increased immigration to address impending labour force needs as baby boomers retired. The country expects to attract a million new immigrants between 2019 and 2021, and more than 300,000 new immigrants came to Canada in the last year alone, putting demand for new housing even higher. Population growth is increasingly driven by immigration, as birth rates in Canada have fallen below population replacement rates.

  Soon immigrants will own all the houses, but those will be sliding in value. Eventually, you will have huts and primitive living, with the people who could maintain centralized heating, hygiene, institutions, and technology long have died out.

  It’s not just white demographic replacement, either, since if you consider the case of Singapore, which fears its falling economic status as its people fail to reproduce because they are too busy working and paying taxes:

  Ms Indranee pointed out that Singapore’s most recent total fertility rate of 1.14 is “below replacement”, adding that about 15 per cent of the country’s population in 2019 were aged 65 and above. This will increase to about 25 per cent by 2030.

  “What this means is that we have a smaller proportion of the working population contributing for a population that is growing older,” she said.

  “So the ones who are not working, the numbers are going to expand. And if we don’t have replacement, the numbers who can actually come into the economy and contribute is going to shrink.”

  What causes this crisis? Historical correlations suggest that socialist policies cause demographic crashes:

  The total fertility rate — the number of children women are having over the course of their reproductive lives — declined to 1.47 births per woman in 2019.

  The rate has been below the replacement rate of 2.1 — the fertility rate needed for the population to replace itself — since 1971, StatsCan said.

  Remember all those socialist-style policies from the 1960s, and how we were warned that they would produce a crisis? It turns out that they deplete the productive while swelling the ranks of the unproductive, just like Communism but slightly more slowly:

  But despite the strong labor market, wage growth has lagged economists’ expectations. In fact, despite some ups and downs over the past several decades, today’s real average wage (that is, the wage after accounting for inflation) has about the same purchasing power it did 40 years ago. And what wage gains there have been have mostly flowed to the highest-paid tier of workers.

  In fact, in real terms average hourly earnings peaked more than 45 years ago: The $4.03-an-hour rate recorded in January 1973 had the same purchasing power that $23.68 would today.

  In seasonally adjusted current dollars, median usual weekly earnings rose from $232 in the first quarter of 1979 (when the data series began) to $879 in the second quarter of this year, which might sound like a lot. But in real, inflation-adjusted terms, the median has barely budged over that period: That $232 in 1979 had the same purchasing power as $840 in today’s dollars.

  After all those socialist policies kicked in, taxes kicked in, which drove the manic need for growth and with it, inflation. As a result, all of the gains that would have gone to the middle class got eaten up by those taxes for the underclasses, and only the really rich could afford to get above the mess.

  This shows us why it is a death spiral; these modern policies of ours set us up for a population crash:

  Starting in 2073, there are projected to be more people ages 65 and older than under age 15 – the first time this will be the case. Contributing factors to the rise in the median age are the increase in life expectancy and falling fertility rates.

  Europe’s population is projected to peak at 748 million in 2021. The Latin America and Caribbean region is expected to surpass Europe in population by 2037 before peaking at 768 million in 2058.

  The global population is expected to grow by about 3.1 billion people between 2020 and 2100. More than half of this increase is projected to come from Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Angola, along with one non-African country (Pakistan).

  This shows us that the people who adopt the first world burden have died out, while those who have avoided it continue to produce lots of people and will eventually genetically replace those other groups.

  For this reason, our bureaucrats have a simple plan: replacing the aging groups with third world people:

  Focusing on these two striking and critical population trends, the report considers replacement migration for eight low-fertility countries (France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Russian Federation, United Kingdom and United States) and two regions (Europe and the European Union). Replacement migration refers to the international migration that a country would need to offset population decline and population ageing resulting from low fertility and mortality rates.

  Even mainstream news sources get nervous when talking about the population crash, since the future will have little need for mainstream news sources except to start fires in round mud huts:

  Overall, the total fertility rate for the United States in 2017 was 1,765.5 per 1,000 women, which was 16% below what is considered the level needed for a population to replace itself: 2,100 births per 1,000 women, according to the report.

  This population spiral hits Whites first because they pay most of the taxes that sustain the bureaucrats and underclass:

  These new numbers show, for the first time, an absolute decline in the nation’s white population of more than 9,000 whites between 2015 and 2016 and more than 31,000 whites between 2016 and 2017.

  Although these annual white declines are extremely modest (of -0.005 and -0.016 percent in 2015-16 and 2016-17, respectively), they are an early harbinger of the long-term trend that the Census Bureau projected previously this year. Those projections showed the white population declining after 2023.

  This is indicative of a general aging of the white population, which means proportionately fewer white women in their childbearing years, and an excess of deaths over births (a natural decrease).

  In other words, the Whites who used to have five-child families and expand happily across the continent are not doing it anymore. Divorce, promiscuity, egomania, narcissism, high taxes, long hours, fractured marriages, social distrust, and mostly, an ugly modern life that no one enjoys, have caused them to stop having kids and to focus instead on individualistic pursuits: hobbies, luxuries, and retirement plans. They have no hope that families will stay together, or really that their civilization will get any better, so instead they are having the best experience that they can for themselves, and ignoring civilization entirely.

  This is what Systems get you. The more power the System has, the less agency individuals do, and so they fall into pursuing desires and comforts instead of making difficult life-decisions. People trust in a Brave New World process where people are cloned by the millions to replace citizens who are busy having sex, buying stuff, being dramatic, and pursuing pointless but time-consuming careers.

  The Great Replacement means the importing of third worlders to replace White people in Europe and the New World, but its origins began in socialism: once we started down the path of high taxes to pay for the diverse underclass and the burgeoning government bureaucracy, we started killing off our people, just as the Soviets did. Only scraps will remain.

  The real reason that Poland and Hungary have been demonized in the United States is that they represent a successful alternative to the failed American combination of industrial and family collapse. Big Tech wants to be made into a utility so it can keep cashing checks without having to prove that its business model works, since advertising to idiots has now failed and the industry is in slow collapse.

  The report said that the Department of Justice launched an investigation into Darroch’s alleged links with Kosinski over the fears that he passed on White House intel to her. The Justice Department noticed the alleged link after Kosinski — who left NBC’s London bureau to join CNN in 2014 — reported “new and exclusive” details into the Trump administration’s move to expel Russian diplomats following an assassination attempt of former Russian double Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia. • White noise as sleep aid may do more harm than good, say scientists
  

  Mathias Basner, a professor of psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, and colleagues systematically reviewed the scientific literature and identified 38 studies that have investigated noise as a sleep aid. Although there was some evidence that continuous noise reduced the amount of time it took individuals to fall asleep, the quality of the evidence was extremely poor, and at least one study suggested the noise may lead to more disrupted sleep.

  Another modern miracle bites the dust. Cities are loud, polluted, and full of nervous but directionless energy. This means that people exist in a constant state of panic, fight-or-flight style, which drives them to be more “productive” at doing nonsense tasks, inflating currency and taxes but achieving little of import. An alien visiting here would observe that everyone is constantly working, but little that really needs doing is getting done, a clear sign of bad social leadership, meaning the loss of social hierarchy we experienced when we expelled the aristocrats.

The Green Deal is also a step in that direction, as it seeks to create the world’s first climate-neutral continent by 2050 and make the EU economy sustainable and nature-friendly.

  Whenever a new challenge arises, the first ideas for dealing with it represent both extremes and continuations of what existed before (sort of like how National Socialism was just racially-aware, totalitarian Bismarckism). “Sustainability” will be downgraded from this wild socialist fantasy to the idea that if nation makes everything that it needs, and has less free wealth from government, people will have perfectly good normal lives without the excesses of consumerism or socialism.

  “Our prosecutors must understand this and challenge any implication that sexual images or messages equate to consent in cases of rape or serious sexual violence.”

  Translation: if some woman accuses some guy of rape, and she kept having normal conversations with him and sending him nudes for the months afterward, that cannot be used as evidence that the sex was consensual. In other words, if a woman cries rape, she gets a conviction. This is what happens when you let feminists and socialist into your legal system.

  A 2019 pilot project used machine learning algorithms and natural language processing at the Department of Health and Human Services. The test run found hundreds of technical errors and outdated requirements in agency rulebooks, including requests to submit materials by fax.

  OMB said all federal agencies are being encouraged to update regulations using AI and several agencies have already agreed to do so.

  Over the last four years, the number of pages in the Code of Federal Regulations has remained at about 185,000.

  Better idea: abolish everything we passed after the Bill of Rights, then add things back in as we need them. Write an amendment to revoke the 14A and offer an anti-socialist standard, meaning that you cannot take from one group (say, the White middle class) to give directly or in kind to another (say, the minority underclasses). End the administrative state and force direct supervision of all government functions by Congress or the President. In the bigger picture, however, we are seeing that the social and mental consequences of democracy are too much to bear, so we need something else, probably an aristocracy, social hierarchy, limited capitalist, traditionalist, and highly informal society. Simplify; the more laws, the more lies.

  A free speech demonstration staged by conservative activists quickly fell apart in downtown San Francisco on Saturday after several hundred counterprotesters surged the area, outnumbering and attacking those gathered, including knocking one in the mouth.

  The Left are bullies. They want free stuff for them, and us to pay for it. The only way they can achieve that, since Leftists have no known value, is to bully us into giving it up. It is entirely possible that the point of this election was not for Biden to win, but to give Leftists an excuse to beat Right-wingers into submission so that America would give up, become third world, and go Leftist forever.   Recent estimates put the hedgehog population in England, Wales and Scotland at about one million, compared with 30 million in the 1950s.

  Nida Al-Fulaij, grants manager at PTES, said: “With thousands of hedgehogs killed on UK roads every year, the continuous development of road networks, without any mitigation, puts this already endangered species at even further risk.”

  Ask yourself: why are people driving so much? They are commuting, because they have moved out of the cities. Why? Oh, right, diversity.

  (3) An offense under 8 U.S.C. § 1326 (Illegal Reentry);

  (4) A federal, state, tribal, or local crime involving criminal street gang activity;

  (5) Certain federal, state, tribal, or local offenses concerning the operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant;

  (6) A federal, state, tribal, or local domestic violence offense, or who are found by an adjudicator to have engaged in acts of battery or extreme cruelty in a domestic context, even if no conviction resulted; and

  (7) Certain misdemeanors under federal or state law for offenses related to false identification; the unlawful receipt of public benefits from a federal, state, tribal, or local entity; or the possession or trafficking of a controlled substance or controlled-substance paraphernalia.

  Aliens who have committed certain domestic violence offenses, even if not convicted, will also be barred from asylum.

  Every restriction on entrance raises the cost to come here, and raises the cost of immigrant labor, making it less appealing for business.

  The modern miracle has run its course, and now we all must pay. Fewer humans will result.

  In a video clip released by the organization on Wednesday, BTS member RM made an acceptance speech in which he said, “We will always remember the history of pain that our two nations share together and sacrifices of countless men and women.”

  According to the Global Times, under the Chinese Communist Party’s People’s Daily newspaper, the speech enraged Chinese online users because it reflects a “one-sided attitude.”

  China hates the fact that we frustrated their takeover of all of Korea. They have been gunning for us ever since. Note that it took them only a year after their revolution to begin expanding into Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand. Chinese Communism is more virulent than COVID-19 and more subversive than HIV.

  C57/BL6 male mice fed a diet moderately high in fat from coconut oil and soybean oil (SO-HFD, 40% kcal total fat) showed statistically significant increases in weight gain, adiposity, diabetes, glucose intolerance and insulin resistance compared to mice on a diet consisting primarily of coconut oil (HFD).

  Those nice cheap vegetable sources for proteins and fats often end up being toxic in unexpected ways. In particular, they seem to kill us slowly, which makes them “traps”: behaviors that seem harmless but then are revealed as highly destructive.

  Overall, the differences in mortgage interest payments amount to $743 a year, mortgage insurance premiums come to $550 a year and property taxes are about $390 per year. Together, this results in $67,320 in lost retirement savings for Black homeowners when invested over 30 years, according to the paper.

  Higher risk means higher cost, but the real shocker here comes from the property taxes. This means that Blacks are being hit up for the high costs of schools in their neighborhoods, which are often much higher than schools in the more stable, less criminal, and more law-abiding suburbs.
