  People who pay taxes expect to receive something in return. When government decides that, in order to advance the agenda of Leftism inscribed in the Civil Rights Acts and Fourteenth Amendment, it will take away the services and stability provided by those taxpayer-funded services, those who experience loss should be able to bill government for it. The voters will laugh it off, and then weep later, or at least the half of them who pay something will. The freeloaders who make up the other half will continue laughing until civilization declines and they go back to being subsistence farmer peasants.

This happens because the audience always wants safety so that each individual can make profit, and this leads to a convergence on whatever lie is least offensive to any victim groups, since egalitarian societies are based upon victimhood and not victory.

High-profile punishments for speech can reverberate, instilling a widespread excess of caution that shuts down pressing questions and worthy points.

  Some sanity. Avoid viewpoint discrimination and instead focus on removing that which is in the wrong form (racial slurs) instead of a form compatible with Open Discussion (policy arguments, logic, facts, observations, anecdotes). That way, anyone can express anything if placed within the right form. Political correctness took the opposite direction and criminalized viewpoints by removing any language which could be used to support them, forcing people to regurgitate the recombinant buzzword salad of Jacobin/Communist terminology in order to express any idea, therefore implying support. This coerced speech goes against everything that has made the West succeed, namely its habit of considering any idea so long as it is made compatible with the rest of our knowledge.

• Atlanta cop charged in Brooks case: ‘the truth will come out’
  

  Brosnan arrived at the Wendy’s responding to a 911 call because Brooks was asleep in his car in the drive-thru lane, blocking traffic. After smelling alcohol on Brooks, Brosnan called for a certified DUI officer to come to the scene. Rolfe arrived a few minutes later.

  How is law enforcement supposed to deal with crazy violent people? Most of us have no problem with them getting shot. The officers in this situation and in the Derek Chauvin/George Floyd case did the right thing, but the problem was that the suspect was out of control.
