  To all the happy folks in the neighborhood who celebrate July 4th with large, loud fireworks. Please give a thought to your neighbors who have horses. Horses are TERRIFIED of fireworks. They are too large to be brought into the house where noise is reduced. As an owner I can either put them in the barn where they fling themselves against the doors in an attempt to get away from the noise or leave them in the pasture where they run themselves stupid. Either way they risk life ending injuries. A broken leg is a death sentence for a horse! Thank you for your consideration!

We eventually lose beautiful things like the pasture full of horses I run past every so often when I jog my longer route.
