• Feds must provide papers from white nationalist case
  

  In a motion filed on Friday, the plaintiffs’ lawyers want a judge to force the government lawyers to provide in part documents the FBI collected from Fields’ computer and cellphone, as well as recordings of his phone calls while in federal custody. The lawyers filed subpoenas for the documents last September. A month later, according to Friday’s filing, the Justice Department wrote that it “would not be in the best interests of the United States” to provide the information requested.

  One wonders what is being concealed here. At the base level, Fields may have been an asset who was encouraged to go to the protests because he was a mentally troubled young man. If things get more extreme, we may find that data reveals that he in fact did not intend to crash his car and therefore is innocent of the charges for which he was convicted. Somehow one never sees the Innocence Project or ACLU intervening in these cases.

• Amazon, Google and Wish remove neo-Nazi products
  

  White-supremacist flags, neo-Nazi books and Ku Klux Klan merchandise were all available for sale.

  Algorithms on Amazon and Wish also recommended other white-supremacist items.

  All three companies told the BBC that racist products were prohibited on their platforms.

  Employees say a customer notified staff she didn’t want the teenager who was about to bag her groceries to do it because he’s Black.

  “He proceeded to tell the manager. She said just to walk away and she bagged her own groceries,” the employee said.

  The teen then went outside to collect shopping carts. That’s when an employee says the woman tried to run the teen over with her car. Police sources say they’re not sure whether the woman was a bad driver or if she did it on purpose.

  Diversity is so over. People want no contact with it. Undoubtedly, this is as fake as the statements by “employees” about her attempt to deliberately drive over him; he probably stepped into her path to provoke confrontation.

• A medical journal apologized after an article prompted health professionals to post images of themselves in bikinis
  

  The hashtag #Medbikini quickly trended Friday after the Journal of Vascular Surgery posted the article titled “Prevalence of unprofessional social media content among young vascular surgeons.”

  The article specifically mentioned photos that included “provocative posing in bikinis/swimwear” and “holding/consuming alcohol.”

  Many medical professionals argued that the contents targeted women and highlighted the sexism problem in the medical field.

  Reminiscent of the origins of “Slutwalk,” this fracas started when an article pointed out the obvious: no one wants twerking Tik Tok doctors and nurses. We want sober, moral, and well-behaved mature people in control of themselves; people who behave like thots and alcoholics (this was aimed mostly at the men, I would guess) do not present an image of reliability.

  Billy Williams, the Portland United States Attorney, said that five people were charged for allegedly committing crimes including assaulting a federal officer, trespassing and creating a disturbance during protests on the night of July 20-21.

  Prosecutors said that seven people have been charged in connection with criminal conduct during a July 21-22 night protest. Another six were charged for their alleged actions in protests during the night of July 22-23.

  As Bill White used to say, if a mob charges you, find the biggest dude and take him out. Mobs are emboldened by a lack of law enforcement. Once some of them go to jail, the rest will run back home to their trailer and ghetto hovels.

  The UN called on authorities to specifically ensure federal and local police were clearly identifiable, after images emerged of officers hiding their badge numbers when using force against protesters.

  “There have been reports that peaceful protesters have been detained by unidentified police officers,” said Liz Throssell, UN human rights spokesperson.
