  • AP says it will capitalize Black but not white

“We agree that white people’s skin color plays into systemic inequalities and injustices, and we want our journalism to robustly explore these problems,” John Daniszewski, the AP’s vice president for standards, said in a memo to staff Monday. “But capitalizing the term white, as is done by white supremacists, risks subtly conveying legitimacy to such beliefs.”

Originally around here, we did not capitalize “white” because it is a weak identifier; unlike African-Americans, who have mostly lost their ethnic and tribal identities, American whites tend to see themselves as mostly one of the three groups: Western, Eastern, or Southern/Irish Europeans. However, now that this has become a political issue, it makes sense to demand that they capitalize White too.

  • ‘Anti-feminist’ lawyer identified as shooter who killed Judge Esther Salas’ son then self

In a 2015 case before Salas, Den Hollander represented a woman who wanted to register for the military draft. He was replaced last June as the woman’s lawyer before the case was fully resolved. The court docket did not indicate a reason for his replacement and the woman’s current attorney could not be reached.

Den Hollander had previously sued Manhattan nightclubs for favoring women by offering ladies’ night discounts and sued the federal government over a law that protects women from violence. He has also sued Columbia University for offering women’s studies courses, accusing the school of using government aid to teach a “religionist belief system called feminism.”

The conspiracy theorists who immediately suggested that this killing was related to Jeffrey Epstein were just doing it for the internet popularity points among the credulous. In reality, this was simply another Leftist slob of a judge who finally pushed a desperate man too far, and he decided to go out with a bang and light her up.

  • Militarized Agents Seen in Portland Are Deploying to Chicago — and Perhaps Further

In the past few weeks, federal agents in military fatigues have been deployed in Portland to protect federal property, garnering national attention by grabbing demonstrators off the street, detaining them in unmarked cars, and attacking peaceful protestors.

So many lies to clarify here!

First, there are no peaceful protesters; if you notice that in every protest, things get violent, you stop participating if you oppose that violence. Clearly none of these Leftists are bothered by it.

Next, they are not grabbing random people; they are detaining those who through their attire, behavior, and/or CCTV images appear to be those committing crimes. This approach works, since it targets only those who are so clueless that they dress, act, and behave like criminals, which discourages this behavior and marginalizes the criminals.

Finally, they are using unmarked cars because these Leftist clowns have been wrecking marked police cars.

Trump has memed the minivan into the new Pinochet Helicopter, but nothing that extreme is happening here.

  • The people with hidden immunity against Covid-19

But scientists have also recently discovered that some people can test negative for antibodies against Covid-19 and positive for T cells that can identify the virus. This has led to suspicions that some level of immunity against the disease might be twice as common as was previously thought.

Most bizarrely of all, when researchers tested blood samples taken years before the pandemic started, they found T cells which were specifically tailored to detect proteins on the surface of Covid-19. This suggests that some people already had a pre-existing degree of resistance against the virus before it ever infected a human. And it appears to be surprisingly prevalent: 40-60% of unexposed individuals had these cells.

My guess is that the plagues, colds, flus, and epidemics that ravaged Europe for centuries have conveyed a certain amount of immunity. As it turns out, data from Texas suggests that this virus is clobbering Black and Hispanic communities.

  • How lockdown made us question every life choice

Coronavirus hasn’t brought out anything that wasn’t already there. Instead it has accelerated and clarified what was going to come up anyway, and the usual white noise of daily life isn’t there to blot it out. All but the very young are looking back on hopes foregone and choices made as lockdown keeps us in place and imposes a deep perspective on things.

Like Eminem, we are cleaning out the closet – yes, we’re fantasising about returning to our formative years and murdering our neglectful parents

COVID-19 interrupted the modern life process and made us ask why we are actually doing all this stuff, including working for ten hours a day on meaningless nonsense just to pay taxes so the useless underclasses can continue to be useless. Kevin Williamson had a good point on multigenerational “white” tax-eaters in Appalachia: cut off the government funds, and make them do something useful or perish. Same applies to all the other underclasses but one cannot say that in public (Nazi! Klansman! Bigot! Hitler! Racist!).

  • Tech firms begin to abandon Hong Kong because of security law

Entrepreneurs now face a wave of concern from overseas clients and suppliers about the implications of running data and internet services under the law’s new regime of vastly expanded online policing powers. Many are making contingency plans and restructuring their operations away from Hong Kong.

Their actions may foreshadow similar decisions from internet giants like Facebook Inc., Alphabet Inc.’s Google and Twitter Inc., all of which confront the same set of uncertainties. The larger firms are taking time to fully assess the impact of the new law, while sentiment in the city itself is dour with about half of U.S. business people saying they plan to leave, according to a recent survey by the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.

The same is happening everywhere that censorship is adopted. Censorship creates fear that the content you invest hours, days, weeks, and years in creating will go away at the whim of some $8/hour obese bureaucrat. The internet thrived because unlike traditional media, it was not censored; the Left saw that and moved in, aided by big business which foolishly believed that eliminating controversy and making the entire platform into advertising would result in big profits. Instead, they have ruined the ecosystem and made it less useful, driving most of us underground. The MySpacing of social media is fully underway now, with the savvy users fleeing social media for chat applications and private sites.

  • Formation of quadruple helix DNA tracked in live human cells for first time

The team thinks G4s form in DNA in order to temporarily hold it open and facilitate processes like transcription, where the DNA instructions are read and proteins are made. This is a form of ‘gene expression’, where part of the genetic code in the DNA is activated.

Sort of like building scaffolding around a house to replacing the siding. Drop acid, read science.

  • Body found in wreckage of pawnshop burned during George Floyd unrest

Investigators from the Minneapolis Police Department, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the state fire marshal’s division were acting on a tip when they discovered the body Monday morning in the rubble of Max It Pawn, at 2726 E. Lake St., according to Police Department spokesman John Elder.

Can anyone say “peaceful protests” without laughing anymore?

  • Seattle Police bodycam footage shows violent clash between protesters, officers

Seattle Police said officers were assaulted with bottles, street cones, and fireworks yesterday after they tried to stop a protester blocking a security camera with an umbrella.

SPD said at least 12 officers were injured.

Police said fragments from the explosions hit an officer in the neck and hurt them to the point of having to go to the hospital.

Now you see the face of the Left: an angry mob empowered by its ability to destroy, seeking nothing but more of that thrill. Most people are monkeys. Egalitarianism places the monkeys in charge of the rest of us, and since the monkeys are incompetent, we all suffer. Every race and ethnic group has a tradition of social hierarchy, or getting the smarter natural leaders of high moral caliber on top, except when democracy comes in. Then, we all play the victim and let idiots rule us.

  • Police release surveillance videos from Grant Park riot

CPD Supt. David Brown said the video shows groups of people within the protest changing into black clothing shortly before the demonstration turned violent around 7:20 p.m. The cells used umbrellas and banners to obscure their activities, Brown said.

Sharpened pieces of PVC pipe were used to construct some of the protesters’ banners, Brown said. Those pipes were subsequently used as weapons against cops at the statue. The video shows pieces of pipe being thrown at officers.

Also seen in the video: Officers, many without any form of protection such as helmets or shields, are pummeled with projectiles that CPD says included frozen bottles of water. In one scene, protesters collect weapons that have been dumped in the park for their use, Brown said.

And so we see that the “peaceful protesters” are in fact violent rioters. The two groups are one and the same, like Sauron and the One Right.

  • Denmark is a liberal paradise for many people, but the reality is very different for immigrants

A new law aims to force changes in 15 housing estates across the country that the government calls “hard ghettos” — which Danish regulations define partly according to the races of those who live in them. The law, which went into effect in July 2019, aims to change the social and ethnic make-up of low-income projects.

The legislation compels housing associations to sell or redevelop 40% of public housing stock in these low-rent, ethnic minority enclaves. According to the housing and transport ministry, residents will be offered the chance to be rehomed in and around the same area. Anyone who refuses to leave will be evicted, according to the ministry.

Egalitarians keep pursuing “assimilation,” forgetting that if you take the identity away from someone, they are left worse off by that, and that most people prefer to live around others like them.

  • Brides denied service from videographer who doesn’t film ‘homosexual weddings’

When they tried to book videographer Caramount Pictures, based in Brantford, Ont., for their wedding, the owner told them the business will not work with a same-sex couple.

The refusal came on Monday, 15 years to the day after Canada legalized same-sex marriage, on July 20, 2005.

“I say this with much care, because I know your union is incredibly important to you, but we do not film homosexual weddings,” Cara Hamstra, the business owner, wrote in an email.

Welcome to pluralism, luvvies. Not everyone shares your vision of the truth.

  • German Jewish leaders fear rise of antisemitic conspiracy theories linked to Covid-19

Josef Schuster, the president of the Central Council of Jews, said Jews were increasingly being held collectively responsible for the spread of the virus and compared the situation to narratives around the plague in the Middle Ages.

At high-profile demonstrations against coronavirus measures, figures such as the Hungarian-born financier George Soros have been blamed for starting the pandemic with the help of the German government in order to gain power and influence.

One prominent participant in the demonstrations, the celebrity TV chef Attila Hildmann, has espoused increasingly elaborate conspiracy theories over the course of the coronavirus crisis that have praised Adolf Hitler and described the chancellor, Angela Merkel, as a communist dictator.

As always, conspiracy theories are metaphors. Jews are a metaphor for diversity, including the influence of the Asiatic Chinese, who like Jews have an Asian origin; Angela Merkel was raised under Communism and seems like a Communist wrapped in the flesh-suit of a moderate conservative. The problem with conspiracy theories is that people take them literally. Instead of beating up on Jews, act to remove diversity; instead of praising Hitler and blaming Merkel, force cultural recognition that symbolic ideologies based on equality are insane.

  • EU leaders reach deal on coronavirus recovery package

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez hailed “a Marshall Plan for Europe,” that would see €140 billion sent to Spain over the next six years.

Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said that Italy was “satisfied” with the results of the plan, which would see 28% of the total funds, or €209 billion directed towards Italy. That figure includes €81 billion in grants and €127 billion in loans.

Greece will also receive €72 billion under the plan, in a move that Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis caled a “national success.”

Like all egalitarian events, this one involves the citizens of the wealthier countries paying for the poorer countries. Imagine what they could do with that wealth if it went to culture, the arts, science, innovation, or philosophy! However, only aristocrats do that; democracy will not. It just throws it into the abyss of subsidizing the poor, disabled, lost, insane, criminal, perverse, and broken.

  • Rich Americans spew more carbon pollution at home than poor

“The numbers don’t lie. They show that (with) people who are wealthier generally, there’s a tendency for their houses to be bigger and their greenhouse gas emissions tend to be higher,” said study lead author Benjamin Goldstein, an environmental scientist at the University of Michigan.

Using federal definitions of income level, the study found that energy use by the average higher income person’s home puts out 6,482 pounds of greenhouse gases a year. For a person in the lower income level, the amount is 5,225 pounds, the study calculated.

Bigger houses means more emissions; the difference is not huge. We should instead ask what non-vital activities we can cut out; does it make sense to heat not just home, but workplace, and also gym, shopping mall, movie theater, restaurants, and bars. If everyone is either at home or the pub, we can heat a lot less.

  • Workers sue Whole Foods over right to wear Black Lives Matter masks

The lawsuit accuses Whole Foods of firing one employee and disciplining roughly 40 others for wearing Black Lives Matter masks at work, according to the complaint.

There is one and only one question here: would the same right extend to a worker wearing a WHITE LIVES MATTER mask?

  • Violent weekend in Detroit: seven killed, 15 shootings and stabbing calls, two quadruple shootings

Craig says there [are] a number of factors at play in the increase in gun violence in other major cities as well as Detroit.

    • The stress of the pandemic with a work shutdown that lasted months.
    • The early release of prisoners due to COVID-19
    • The need to redirect officers to monitor daily Black Lives Matter rallies

In addition, to that, violent crime is up by seven percent.

Diversity works for no one. The different groups are fighting for power, never addressing the question of the whole, as in what our future is or how our society will survive.

  • People who like embarrassing or angering others find social media more addictive, study says

A fascinating study of 472 university students tracked their usage on two top platforms for 18-to-24-year olds: Snapchat (2.64 hours per day) and Facebook (2.28 hours per day). Researchers found that users displaying addictive behavior were also more likely to be motivated to be cruel and callous and to use others for personal gain.

“Our results demonstrate that individuals who have a greater preference for these types of rewards display greater problematic use of both platforms,” write the researchers, who note that these traits are also associated with narcissism and psychopathy and have previously been correlated with addictive internet use. They write that social media sites unwittingly “cater to people who seek rewards from being cruel, such as through cyberbullying or various aggressive online behaviors.”

This should surprise no one. People who are powerless over themselves and their lives tend to go somewhere where they can be powerful from a keyboard, and they bully others out of rage at their own insignificance. We will find in the future that most Leftists, including libertarians, have the same pathology.

  • Asian Man Believes He Was ‘Karened’ in Davis, Davis Police Unsympathetic

The video shows the man calling the police, “There is a man walking around my apartment complex. He’s taking photos of people’s houses. I walked up and asked him and he got very standoffish, won’t answer any of my questions, he’s videotaping me now.”

Taking photos? That will get you investigated unless you can produce a realtor card, no matter what your race is. This is a case study in passive-aggression: act dodgy, but avoid doing anything explicitly wrong, then play the victim when people ask you to play nice.

  • Lockdown Brits splurge on tea, biscuits and a good book

We’ve splashed out an additional £24m on tea and coffee and an extra £19m on biscuits in the past three months, says market research firm Kantar.

The company also reported that grocery sales reached a record £31.6bn in the 12 weeks to 12 July.

We’ve also been reading much more, according to publisher Bloomsbury, which has seen book sales jump.

I love our people and their “stiff upper lip” approach to crisis. Instead of wallowing in negativity and despair, they buckle down and make the best of it, saving up energy to make something really great in the future. Humanity needs to save these people from the tedium of jobs, red tape, school, commuting, and other time-wasting activities, and get them back to normal life. COVID-19 gave them a taste for it, so maybe they will ditch the tax-and-spend entitlements state and select culture again.

  • Trial begins for Germany synagogue attack suspect

Prosecutors believe the 28-year-old was motivated by anti-Semitism and xenophobia, and planned to massacre those inside the synagogue.

He is believed to have acted alone, having self-radicalised on the internet.

Like conspiracy theories, these dubious attacks seem like emotional rather than logical responses. The logical response is to unite the Right, seize power, and end the laws that keep Leftists in power, including diversity. It is not “racist” to say that only ethnic Germans belong in Germany, and therefore Turks, Arabs, Jews, and Roma need to go back home. Murdering them does not help. They are also victims of diversity.

  • Trump signs memo aimed at omitting undocumented immigrants from census apportionment count

President Donald Trump on Tuesday signed a memo that aims to bar undocumented immigrants living in the country from being included in the census for purposes of deciding how many members of Congress are apportioned to each state.

Trump understands the twenty-first century Right-wing strategy: chipping away. Instead of aiming for one big victory, he works diligently to sabotage the base of Leftist power in such a way that it will be difficult for them to fix. They now have to demand that census count illegal aliens, and that is a bad look, at least for moderates and centrists. In the meantime, the advantage to them of having illegal aliens around goes down. This means fewer will come in and, in return, more will self-deport.

  • China, US reportedly launching separate spacecrafts to Mars within two weeks

The US is planning its launch next Thursday that will land the Perseverance rover on the Martian surface.

The rover will deploy the Ingenuity Mars helicopter to attempt a controlled flight on the planet.

Probably some of the coolest stuff we have going on right now.

  • Historically controlled comparison of glucocorticoids with or without tocilizumab versus supportive care only in patients with COVID-19-associated cytokine storm syndrome: results of the CHIC study

reated patients had 79% higher likelihood on reaching the primary outcome (HR: 1.8; 95% CI 1.2 to 2.7) (7 days earlier), 65% less mortality (HR: 0.35; 95% CI 0.19 to 0.65) and 71% less invasive mechanical ventilation (HR: 0.29; 95% CI 0.14 to 0.65). Treatment effects remained constant in confounding and sensitivity analyses.

We now have a basic effective treatment for those cytokine storms.

  • People are more likely to contract COVID-19 at home, study finds

The findings showed just two out of 100 infected people had caught the virus from non-household contacts, while one in 10 had contracted the disease from their own families.

By age group, the infection rate within the household was higher when the first confirmed cases were teenagers or people in their 60s and 70s.

This disease is about air. Air quality, first and foremost, but next, indoor air, especially recirculating air. The more you hang out near infected people, the more likely you are to get it, but also, your risk in public is a lot less than the media and Science, Inc., and Medicine, Inc., are reporting. If you want to wear a mask, do it at home!

  • Belgian authorities investigate police ‘kneeling’ death

Belgian authorities are investigating the death of a man after footage shared on social media appeared to show a police officer kneeling on his back.

Police said a 29-year-old man of Algerian origin was arrested outside a café in Antwerp on Sunday after he allegedly tried to attack people.

The man died in hospital hours later.

Trend-following. If he died in a hospital hours later, the chokehold did not kill him.

  • China Orders Christians to Take Down Images of Jesus from Their Homes

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has continued its program of “Sinicization” of religion by channeling religious fervor in the country toward the Party rather than God, the Christian Post reported this weekend.

In May, an official in the eastern province of Shandong raided the home of a local Christian and hung pictures of Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping on the wall in place of Christian images.

“These are the greatest gods. If you want to worship somebody, they are the ones,” the official told them.

Typical Leftist Behavior but then again, why would Christianity be in China? They already have their folk religions. Preserving culture is more important than “religious freedom” which seems to mean that everyone signs on to the weirdest cult they can find.

  • NY Times Chief Classical Music Critic: End “blind auditions,” pick orchestra musicians based on race and gender

For decades leading symphony orchestras have used “blind auditions” to hire musicians. That is, the musicians are not seen at all, only their music is heard. That way, implicit or explicit racial, ethnic, or gender bias cannot enter into the hiring decision, only the quality of the music.

Not according to Anthony Tommasini, the chief classical music critic at the NY Times. Tommasini writes that the lack of orchestral diversity resulting from this meritocracy needs to change, and musicians should be chosen based on race, gender, and other factors.

{{{ Tommasini }}} understands egalitarianism: it is not about a “level playing field,” as conservatives interpret it to mean, but “lifting up the lower by lowering the higher,” as egalitarians understand. Affirmative action excludes qualified people in order to hire minorities and in doing so, sabotages whatever is touched by it. If we eliminated affirmative action, prices would fall and jobs would become less odious.

  • Burberry and Jaguar Land Rover will face consumer boycott, China warns

Chinese state media has begun explicitly warning the UK of how Beijing will retaliate via economic means – stalling on post-Brexit trade talks or pinching British businesses in China – as a diplomatic row deepens between the two nations.

China knows that Europe depends on Chinese purchasers to fund its bloated and opulent welfare state. Like Trump, Boris recognizes that China seeks to conquer and therefore, that the West will be better decoupling from China and reducing its own welfare state. Welfare states breed weak, indecisive citizens.

  • Why Is Hillary Clinton Support In 2016 Correlated With Cities’ 2020 Riots?

There was one variable that did correlate strongly to urban violence: a city’s percentage of vote for Hillary Clinton in 2016. The more a city voted for Clinton, the more violence it saw in conjunction with the protests. (For the statisticians, the regression provides a significance of 0.0019 with the 2016 vote variable yielding a P-value of 0.003). The greater percentage of support for Clinton in 2016, the more likely a city was to suffer wanton destruction in connection with the “mostly peaceful” protests.

Why did the leaders of the hardest-hit cities decide to give space to destroy? Some mayors saw the protest organizers as political supporters. A few may have calculated that widespread coverage of burning cities would harm President Trump’s reelection chances. And some just didn’t want the responsibility of ordering their police to restore order.

Leftists work together like a hive mind. The only way to defeat them is to organize, gain control, and remove their power.
