Once mighty and terrible beasts roamed the earth. They were stronger, better and cooler in every way. They were replaced by mice, and now we live in an age of rodentia, where everything is small, meek and fearful.

In our sealed modern world, we view ourselves the same way. Once we were knights, Vikings and aristocrats. Now, we are little soft-handed men who live underneath the power of our society and just try to be innocuous and get along the process of life, which is basically working until you retire, realize you are irrelevant, and then die in whatever way is most comfortable for you.

Part of the reason for this is that we remain unconvinced by the various theories of the extermination of these terrible beasts. It looks like they may have died out because of being themselves, or that they just gave up. We fear that without any more enemies to war against, no more mountains left to climb, they simply faded away.

Luckily for us, we now live in a totally failed time that will be an unholy beast to fix, so we finally have an enemy worth fighting against again as we raise our heads and become mighty and terrible beasts once more.
