If you think the worst thing on network television must be the endless propaganda on cable news, think again: by far the most cringy, stomach-turning, and hopelessness-inducing spectacle you can witness comes from the GOP as they attempt to communicate with liberals.

Conservatives seem to believe that they can reason with the Left and somehow make them see that liberals policies contradict liberal intentions. It says a lot about our conservatives that they seem to never have stopped to consider that if the Left keeps winning, it obviously does not bother them if they are logically inconsistent.

This fails to bother the conservatives both mainstream and underground since all of them are simply businesspeople. They care about selling website clicks, video plays, books, and donations to the GOP. Our prominent conservatives, like the GOP itself, avoid thinking about the future; they want the money and the fame now, and their only goal is to promote themselves as individuals.

For these media figures, communicating with liberals is a means of communicating with the conservative audience. They follow the “pornography style” format pioneered by Fox News and National Review, in which the goal is to get their audience worked up with indignant, righteous anger so that they shake their fists at the television screen until they can’t take it anymore, then collapse exhausted, and go back to work the next days.

Media conservatives specialize in the “gotcha” approach for this reason, and they like to try to make their audience rage and pass out by pointing out that liberals are inconsistent:

Conservative: Did you realize that you are actually the racist when you use Critical Race Theory to discriminate against white people?

Liberal: Of course I did! Racism involves power and discrimination, so if I remove the power, I end the racism.

Conservatives tend to view Leftism as an ideology, or a belief system about what is best for society. Nothing can be further from the truth; Leftism is more like a cult, or a pathology, and it is based in the desires of the individual.

The type of person attracted to liberalism – this means the relaxing of rules, mores, behaviors, and standards under Leftism – wants nothing more than to destroy civilization so that his own power increases. You may recall the root of evil as described in Genesis:

⁴ And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

⁵ For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

⁶ And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

They view the power of the individual over reality, which itself reflects the mathematical needs of existence, to be supreme. They want to beat down the mathematical framework that makes existence possible and replace it with the human ego.

They know that their social group will support them if they declare “equality for all,” and the same group will cheer every nasty, underhanded, hypocritical, deceptive, sadistic, and corrupt thing that is done to achieve equality. These people care only about feeling the sensation of power, and have no thoughts for the consequences of their actions. If they did not start out that way, they are quickly brainwashed into it.

Equality at its heart is egotism. The individual wants to be free from social standards and, since those reflect an attempt to adapt to reality with grace, wants to reject both reality and grace. To them, equality means that “no one can tell me that I am wrong,” least of all by pointing out something as prosaic and uncool as reality. Isaac Asimov once diagnosed this correctly:

Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that ‘my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’

In any other reading, we would interpret “my ignorance is equal to your knowledge” to be a statement of both typical egalitarianism and typical narcissism. The root of the Leftist strain in the West is the Dunning-Kruger solipsism of the lower orders, starting with the middle class.

They desire independence from any kind of standards of social behavior. All they see is themselves, and they are willing to join a raging mob in order to force you to accept this. The heart of the collectivist is a desire for individualism, and they use the crowd as a tool to enforce this upon you and anyone else who sees how silly this is.

You cannot communicate with liberals by demanding that they avoid hypocrisy or paradox. To them, those also are tools. If you point out that they are being unfair, they take great delight in this, because to them, all injustice used as a means to the end of achieving equality is not just good, but better than any slower method.

Republicans keep trying to communicate with them using Republican language, but while affirming Leftist beliefs:

Conservative: You guys believe in equality, right? How is it equality to end honors classes because not everyone can score well in them?

Liberal: We only have equality when everyone scores the same. Stop giving preference to people who are smarter and work more by accident of birth.

Even attempting to rope them in to preserving America, humanity, civilization, or history will have no effect. They care about themselves only, and they really could care less if the rest of the world burns. Your average liberal would trade the world for his sofa, hipster bar, and Instagram profile.

In other words, that old tactic of “finding common ground” that they taught you in your Intro to Business Administration class simply will not work. There is only one way to talk to Leftists:

Liberal: And this new plan will further spread equality —

Conservative: I don’t care.

Liberal: What?

Conservative: I’m a conservative. We are not interested in equality. We like stability, order, function, and morality. In that environment, the good people do well and the bad people fail.

Liberal: How can you say that?

Conservative: I can say this because God, Socrates, and Darwin agree on this principle. “Good to the good, and bad to the bad.”

Liberal: But what about equality?

Conservative: What about the Tooth Fairy? The Easter Bunny? All of those are just human projections.

In the end, there is only one way to communicate with liberals: point out that they need us. Their lives of dysfunction can exist only on the back of a functional society, and for function, we cannot have equality. We need social hierarchy, culture, logic, race, faith, ethnicity, and aristocracy.

If you look at those conservative voices mentioned earlier, you will see that this is the Rubicon that they fear to cross. Rejecting equality means rejecting all of liberalism, and in fact saying that we oppose liberalism. That’s right: our goal is not to compromise with them, appease them, or make them happy. It is to save the world from them.
