Alberta, Canada does not want to remain in a perpetual state of dhimmitude to demotism. A growing number of Albertan citizens seek independence from the rest of Canada. They tire of the unceasing existential dilema of the steadfast producer in the era of Nietzche’s last man. They don’t want to end up like the pod-people in the universe of The Matrix. They do not wish to be the battery that powers a pointless Canadian welfare state.

Now back to that existential dilemma. If you produce in a modern democracy, you get milked. You get milked because the goal of a democracy is equality. Once a person produces something, that individual has more. At that point, the demotic mob notices. The government gets intimidated and demotic entropy sets in. Demotic entropy consists of the tendency of all resources being drained from the productive to the useless until equality is enforced at the zero.

If we were to view any type of socialism (from Liberal Democracy across the governmental failure spectrum all the way to Communism) as a black box, goods, services, and capabilities go in as inputs. Demotic entropy is the process inside the box. But the output is not what the socialists would claim. You only get equality at the zero. Worthwhile and fulfilling life is impossible at the zero. Therefore, the only viable output of a socialism is first spiritual, then mental and then finally physical death. Socialism, in all its forms, leads only to death.

So how then does one live in a socialist welfare state. One does not. You leave or you die. There is no unclaimed frontier. The person seeking manumission from socialism must succede from the despicable welfare state. Many in Alberta, Canada so endeavor. They so endeavor because they are getting vampired.

Between 2007 and 2019, 6.4 percent of Alberta’s economic activity went as net transfers to other provinces: US$56,000 per Albertan or $224,000 per family of four[Fiscal Federalism and the Dependency of Atlantic Canada, by Fred McMahon, Fraser Institute, January 28, 2021]. With net transfers constituting 12.8 percent of local GDP, the Maritime provinces (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island) were more dependent on transfers than Guatemala was on remittances.

The Canadian Rock Group Rush once wrote a song called Distant Early Warning. It’s gravamen was that bad things happening in Canada were a foreshadowing of what would happen in the United States. This could also pertain to White Canada’s desire to decouple from the parasite load implicit to increasingly demotic Liberal Democracy.

The population of Alberta is almost 90% White, considerable more Christian, and similar in social character to the Northern Europeans that succeeded in making The West a viable concern. They are not only north of the 48th parallel geographically. They are also ethinically, morally, and spiritually north of The Hajnal Line. They predictably and rationally seek relief from the depredations of the other.

As the Rush song mentioned earlier suggests, this is not just a Canadian thing. Alberta’s longstanding succession effort proved a harbinger to similar efforts in support of similar sentiments held by groups of Canada’s neighbors to The South.

In rural Oregon, voters in several counties want their state to go from Democratic blue to Republican red — and to do that, they hope to leave Oregon altogether and join neighboring Idaho. Five counties approved ballot measures this week, joining two others that had already voted in favor of the idea.
“This election proves that rural Oregon wants out of Oregon,” said Mike McCarter, president of the advocacy group Citizens for Greater Idaho.

The Wildrose Party in Alberta is more radical than Greater Idaho. They seek a complete break with Canada as a nation. They are trying to be nice about it and will predictably hear what The British Monarchy told Wat Tyler. “Villains ye were, villains ye remain!” Canada will not give Alberta anywhere near the level of respect that was shown The Quebec Succession Movement. Quebec lands on the opposite side of Canada’s balance sheet from Alberta.

Greater Idaho will enjoy no greater success in its less radical effort to simply join a different state while remaining Amerikan. Oregon will not permit its agricultural hinterland to decouple from Portland. No socialist will ever admit that rational people would ever turn down the Riot Ribs in Portland. Rational and productive lives in rural Amerika don’t matter. The Amerikan central government would never want a place as rural and anti-Leftist as Idaho to gain greater traction in either The House of Representatives or The Electoral College.

Freedom of Association is like any other right. You get it when you are ready to kill and die for it. Not before. Not anywhere. Not ever. The modern socialist city cannot survive its own moral beliefs absent a resource mine to exploit to pay for the gimmedats. Seven counties in Oregon are staying in The Hotel California. The can check out any time, but they can never leave.

The dichotomy between urban and rural will have to widen until the contradiction demands a blood reconcialiation. Those imposed upon by their “cultural betters” will have to literally be willing to not grow the food, pump the oil, or mine the coal. Those in the financial and trade centers will then have to decide if they are really ready to bring back full-on chattel slavery to feed places like New York, LA, or Montreal. Joe Biden and Justin Trudeau are not coming up with a newer and better way to organize civilization. They will either continue to steal or they will have to fight resource wars to feed the demotic brigands that follow their respective political ideologies. This is ultimately how demotism in North Amerika will be destroyed.
