Amerikans find that home is where the hate is. When polled on what the worst threat to their own wellbeing was, Amerikans answered “the neighbors.”

Asked to identify America’s greatest enemy, nearly 40% of voters don’t choose a foreign power, but instead name domestic political parties. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 25% of Likely U.S. voters believe that China is America’s biggest enemy as 2022 draws to a close, while 20% think Russia is the biggest enemy. However, 22% say Democrats are the nation’s biggest enemy and 17% name Republicans – dwarfing such hostile powers as North Korea (5%) and Iran (2%).

This comes as no surprise. These people are not lying. The typical Amerikan trusts their typical compatriot about as far as they could defecate them. This distrust probably doesn’t come from a disingenuous source. Totalitarian states thrive when they internally divide their captive populace. “When you see something, say something” has become the invitation to patriotically support the totalitarianism.

Using the Global Profiteering Off of Terror as an excuse, the US Government founded its very own secret police in the form of the Department of Homeland Security. The dubiously named USA Patriot Act gave this internal repression apparatus spying powers that the original Bill of Rights was appended to the US Constitution to prevent from ever being given to an Amerikan government.

So why do people all across Amerika hate and blame one another so rampantly? Because they are not getting what they were promised in Democracy’s brochure. “Life, Liberty, and The Pursuit of Happiness” we were offered. This can only be delivered in a nation on the way up.

Amerika’s first derivative turned negative somewhere between 1998 and 2006. The second derivative went in the red between 2006 and 2009. Everything thereafter has been a fight between orcs to grab up !MINE! from a dwindling pile of rotting scraps.

The USSA lost its liberty when 9-11 gave its kakistocratic elite an opportunity to behave like their domineering selves. Amerikans are spied on by their mobile phones, censured by their banks on a whim, and bombarded by propaganda on social media platforms which have hired 113 former US intelligence professionals to monitor anything we post on these platforms. The term “Sheep-Dipping” entered the Amerikan lexicon when Elon Musk began airing Twitter’s secret machinations.

In the intelligence world, “sheep dipping” is a term of art. It describes a tactic whereby a member of the military is “officially discharged from service” to do covert work. In secret, they are still eligible for rank promotions and military benefits.

Now it appears that Amerikans are even losing the Life.

The life expectancy for the average U.S. citizen has hit a 25-year low, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Life expectancy for people born in the U.S. during 2021 stands at 76.4 years, the lowest on record since 1996. Life expectancy for those born in 2019 was 78.8 years — a drop of 2.4 years, according to CDC data.

So nobody in Amerika is free, those pursuing happiness probably won’t catch it. Now the life expectancy is decreasing. Everything democracy promised has been taken away. Where do people get the goodies? They get it from each other. They get it by ripping one another off. Crime is what pays when work no longer works for us.

The lid remains on the USSA because Republicans are sent to war against Commie Woke Democrats and Democrats are sent to war against Evil Rethuglicans. Take away one party, and the other one would wind up hanging from the lamp posts. Democracy will not work when prosperity flees. Everyone plays along voluntarily when things are steadily getting better.

It will be a long, long time before the debt and stupidity are unwound enough for anything in Amerika to begin getting better. How much trust exists in society that has to hire 86,000 new tax collectors to extract the tithe the government feels it is entitled to. Those tax collectors will all have to go visit someone. That neighbor that you barely even say “hello” to, they have an idea who those IRS guys need to audit.

When everyone hates everyone, the society in which that occurs becomes either a tyranny, or a society reminiscent of a Mad Max wasteland. This is the inevitable destination that any democracy is ultimately bound for. When Jesus told us to love our neighbors, he didn’t have to put up with either Charles Schumer or Mitch McConnell.
