Depending on who you talk to, the results of the recent German election were either very good or very bad for the far-Right, which means the Right that accepts that conservatism aims primarily at biology and civilization. The Left aims primarily at strengthening the bureaucracy to promote the individual.

In the long run, the AFD doubled its representation and made itself an inescapable part of German government. The WW2 narrative died because the mainstream was forced to accept the AFD and more importantly, that at least one in five people on the street support it.

However, things went awry as they always do. Within fifteen minutes of the election, coalition partner Frederick Merz had announced that the exact things they AFD campaigned on — ending immigration, escaping diversity — would be ignored and instead the new government would be pro-diversity from that point onward.

Well, what did they expect? This is election 2020 for Germany: the election in which the electorate realize that they cannot work within the system, but need to elect radicals who want to destroy the system, because the system will never change.

Government is a job. Most people in government simply want to make money and get along with their coworkers while availing themselves of other opportunities that come up because of the job. They follow the law like a machine and are ruled by precedent. Think, choose? They never do that; there is no benefit in it.

With civil rights law, derived from the American 14A as well as the Napoleonic Code, all people are equally important and therefore, society is entrenched in paralysis. It is forever in means-over-ends mode because it has no goal, only a desire to keep unity through equality.

Systems designed around symbols like this never alter course; they only speed up. The system is a robot which executes its instructions even when that will destroy everything. It has no consciousness, only the ability to follow rules and flatter others.

The Soviet system collapsed because despite abundant evidence that it was not working, no one wanted to back down on the ideology… instead they doubled down, in order to prove they were Good Communists to their bosses, so that they could get promoted in The System.

They did this right up until that system collapsed because everyone was so busy promoting themselves by promoting the ideology that their entire society went right off the rails. Reality became an alien land, and instead they relied on symbols to manipulate each other and keep unity.

Unity only works until the society cannot feed people. Then unity fragments as people take what they need to feed their families at the expense of anyone else. Under diversity and equality, the US and EU have become dangerously close to the Soviet and Jacobin models of failing societies.

We might analogize to Athens, which went democratic, found its Pericles to champion popular causes and ignore long-term problems, imported foreigners, and then promptly went insane and self-destructed. Or the last days of Rome when democracy made their people weak, obese, neurotic, perverse, and obsessive too.

Germans had to see that doing the “safe” thing according to precent always leads to the same results. You vote for the safe candidates, and they do what is safe, which is more of the same. You need wrecking balls like Trump, the AFD, the Homeland Party, Javier Milei, and Nayib Bukele to tear down the system and start over.
