When forced to live in the same society, they enter into a BDSM-type arrangement where one side takes from another by playing the victim, then must give to salve the victimhood of the other in another area. Eventually you have no coherent standards, behaviors, values, facts, or even logic. You get the muddle of the neurotic solipsistic human mind intensified by the social pressure of society and enabled by the engines of commerce and technology. Empires that fall do not end in fire; they fade away into third-world, mixed-race, high-inbreeding, low-IQ grey people.
