  I enjoyed reading Ricky L. Jones confronting the failure of diversity in America. Back in the 1980s, in the most diverse city in North America, it became clear to me that diversity was doomed because groups compete for control of culture, which creates endless enmity.

  This is bigger than Black and White. European-Americans know that our history is full of different European ethnic groups clashing over who gets to define the standards, directions, and genetics of some region or other. Groups are distinct because they maintain their own standards and conserve their genetic heritage.

  I would suggest that diversity does not work in any form, and for this reason, it is unjust to allow it to persist. Reparations-with-repatriation means a lump sum payment to members of minority groups to resettle in their ethnic continents of origin, a process called “remigration.” It is fairest to all groups and avoids the daily racial antagonism of diverse societies.

  In the South, we know good people of every group, but we also know that for there to be civilization, we need culture and that can only happen in mono-ethnic places. You do not have to like slavery, “racism,” Jim Crow, the Klan, or other stuff in order to see that diversity is dysfunction and homogeneity is function.
