A few hilarious news items showing us that the myth of diversity is on its way out:

The Great Emancipator was almost the Great Colonizer: Newly released documents show that to a greater degree than historians had previously known, President Lincoln laid the groundwork to ship freed slaves overseas to help prevent racial strife in the U.S.

Just after he issued the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863, Lincoln authorized plans to pursue a freedmen’s settlement in present-day Belize and another in Guyana, both colonial possessions of Great Britain at the time, said Phillip W. Magness, one of the researchers who uncovered the new documents.

Historians have debated how seriously Lincoln took colonization efforts, but Mr. Magness said the story he uncovered, to be published next week in a book, “Colonization After Emancipation: Lincoln and the Movement for Black Resettlement,” shows the president didn’t just flirt with the idea, as historians had previously known, but that he personally pursued it for some time.

“The way that Lincoln historians have grappled with colonization has always been troublesome. It doesn’t mesh with the whole ‘emancipator,’ ” Mr. Magness said. – Washington Times

Is this story new? The evidence is new. The accusations are not. Back in the 1980s, it was covert knowledge that Lincoln not only did not consider whites and African-Americans equal, but he saw deporting African-Americans as the solution to the ongoing division over slavery. This was covert knowledge because the media establishment pushed back hard against one of our favorite myths: that Lincoln was a great egalitarian who loved black people and wanted them to be equal to his white citizens, most of whom even in the North loathed the idea at the time.

What is most important to remember, however, is that these two pieces of data may be unrelated. Whatever Lincoln’s view of African-Americans, he may have believed that trying to unite different races into a single nation was foolish, illegal or impractical. Sadly we don’t get to find out, because someone shot him.

Here at Amerika, we stand against the kind of callow racism that has blighted politics in the past. We do not oppose blacks, or whites; we oppose diversity because it destroys all cultures involved and replaces them with a “grey race” of cultureless, originless, valueless people who are dependent on television and government pamphlets for their values and customs. Racism is pointless; multiculturalism, by destroying ethnic groups at the same time it exploits the newcomers for cheap labor, is racist. Every sane person should oppose it as the New Age pipe dream that it is.

“We have been too concerned about the identity of the person who was arriving and not enough about the identity of the country that was receiving him,” he said in a television interview in which he declared the concept a “failure”.

Prime Minister David Cameron last month pronounced his country’s long-standing policy of multiculturalism a failure, calling for better integration of young Muslims to combat home-grown extremism.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Australia’s former prime minister John Howard and former Spanish prime minister Jose Maria Aznar have also in recent months said multicultural policies have not successfully integrated immigrants. – The Telegraph

Do we need to say nasty things about Muslims? No: they are of a different culture and values systems, and want to preserve that. Can two value systems occupy the same society? Not without destroying it. So after a half-century of beating the dead horse of diversity and multiculturalism, we are finding out again that our elders were right, and diversity is genocide and multiculturalism is racism, and we should avoid them before they damage our souls with hypocrisy in addition to damaging our societies.
