John 15:18-26 (ESV)
18 If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.
19 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
Many Americans are unaware of what raw, heartless religious persecution does to a civilization. American Christians (or people of the way, as followers of Christ were once known) are only beginning to taste a glimpse of what many of us foresee in the road being paved ahead.
Consider the state of mockery toward Christians by the elitist celebrity bourgeois class. It is commonplace and without immense pushback, for the dominant pop culture has clear control of the biggest propaganda outlets in order to brainwash and manipulate the shifting moral and spiritual zeitgeist in American culture.
The early church of Christianity quickly formed after the death and resurrection (as we believe) of Jesus Christ. He was a man put to death, by means of Roman crucifixion, for the crime of blasphemy. It is only a very brief period after His disciples claimed to witness the risen Christ that the most persecuted faith to this day arose.
I was once a strong atheist. I detested Christian life and culture because I viewed Christians as deluded, dangerous fools who adhered to outright superstition based merely upon desert fables and Jewish lies as a means to control the populace. This criticism lacks any critical thinking or understanding of early church history, but this was my view. To this day, though they may not divulge it as bluntly, many hold these sentiments toward Christians, and it is clearly shown by their disgust, rhetoric, and mockery.
The Four Horsemen of Atheism — Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Daniel Dennett, and the late Christopher Hitchens — play a large role in roping in skeptics toward full-fledged denial of God through their books, lectures, and debates. This has placed many youthful millennials on a specific trajectory encompassed within their manners of voting, operating culture, and overall view of what American morality should be and how best to obtain that goal. Within these new generations, acceptance of anti-Christian persecution is at an all-time high.
Let us first examine the roots of where many anti-God values and attitudes stem from.
Hollywood Elitist and anti-Christ Mockery
[[[ Taylor Swift ]]] recently released her music video entitled You Need To Calm Down which explicitly glorifies homosexuality and gender-crooked identity politics while mocking Christians as backwoods-dwelling uneducated buffoons. There are many who praise this woman and idolize those like her as they dance and prance onstage, worshipping them with joy-lit eyes. These types of Hollywood elitists are enacted as radical tools to utilize against right-minded decency and are co-opted for executing moral decay through perpetual propaganda. Americans are hooked into an addiction of perpetual stimuli. Entertainment has now become a drug of absolute moral decay.
Not too far back DC Comics released a comic entitled Second Coning, which is described like this:
Witness the return of Jesus Christ, as He is sent on a most holy mission by God to learn what it takes to be the true messiah of mankind by becoming roommates with the world’s favorite savior: the all-powerful super hero Sun-Man, the Last Son of Krispex! But when Christ returns to Earth, he’s shocked to discover what has become of his gospel—and now, he aims to set the record straight.
It may seem light-hearted to those in America because modern Western minds often take for granted their religious freedoms and are often too immature to take things seriously which perhaps should be acted upon as sacred. Nothing in America is sacred. All has become one fat punchline.
Mockery is a fine tool to dumb down the masses. If you can laugh at it, you have removed it from the category of sacred things. If there is nothing sacred about it, then why show any respect? And when that which is no longer sacred becomes a moral stumbling block for the changing winds of Western morality, then it becomes a public enemy. At that point, it’s total war.
If it isn’t sacred, and a specific group is standing in the way of the desired shifting moral zeitgeist, what comes next? Let us briefly examine worldwide Christian persecution and how this actually plays out in reality.
It’s For The Greater Good
This snippet comes from the BBC News:
The persecution of Christians in parts of the world is at near “genocide” levels, according to a report ordered by Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt.
The review, led by the Bishop of Truro the Right Reverend Philip Mounstephen, estimated that one in three people suffer from religious persecution.
Christians were the most persecuted religious group, it found.
Mr Hunt said he felt that “political correctness” had played a part in the issue not being confronted.
It warned the religion “is at risk of disappearing” in some parts of the world, pointing to figures which claimed Christians in Palestine represent less than 1.5% of the population, while in Iraq they had fallen from 1.5 million before 2003 to less than 120,000.
People of the way were ruthlessly targeted in the era of the Roman Empire where Christianity first began to spread beyond its origins. The Apostle Paul, once known as Saul of Tarsus, a man whom viciously targeted Christians, most likely died by beheading under the rule of Emperor Nero. He ended his life as a servant of Jesus Christ. The disciples, of which also faced vicious persecution and eventual death, had no reason to keep on with a lie they knew to be false. And yet, despite hatred from both Gentile and Jew alike, throughout the remainder of each of their lives, they stood steadfast in Christ. And to those surrounding cultures and Pagan societies, I am confident they viewed the ridding of these Christians as a means toward the betterment of their societies. They were both a threat to the religious zealots of the times, the power-hungry tyrants and an absolute threat to the Pagan gods.
The brutality was immense, as this brief excerpt displays:
Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus ruled the Roman Empire from 54-68 AD. Encyclopedia Britannica and most historians agree that he was a brutal, irresponsible, and opulent ruler who was famous for persecuting Christians. He was known to force Christians into gladiator matches, where they would be eaten by lions, and “he often lit his garden parties with the burning carcasses of Christian human torches,” explains this article from PBS.
I’ve often looked around, at fellow peers or strangers from afar, and asked myself how brutal shall they be when push comes to shove? Then I had a slight epiphany as to why Hellfire exist and how all which is deeply burrowed below shall, at its given time, fully manifest and reveal our true allegiance to whom we serve. From the Christian perspective, at the end of all we know to be reality, only Light and Darkness remain. There is no in-between or dualism of any kind. One either chooses good or evil.
America is clearly cracking. The election of President Trump stands tall as an example of how that deeply buried allegiance is brought out when people feel the pressure rising. Despite whether or not one views many folks acting out and live streaming anti-Trump rants as total lunacy, it further conveys how much worse it shall be in the latter days of the American Empire and her great fall.
If Christian persecution falls upon America during her back-shattering fall, then review what is occurring in many parts of the East for a future ideal report.
Newsweek reports this:
The persecution and genocide of Christians across the world is worse today “than at any time in history,” and Western governments are failing to stop it, a report from a Catholic organization said.
The study by Aid to the Church in Need said the treatment of Christians has worsened substantially in the past two years compared with the two years prior, and has grown more violent than any other period in modern times.
“Not only are Christians more persecuted than any other faith group, but ever-increasing numbers are experiencing the very worst forms of persecution,” the report said.
The report found that Saudi Arabia was the only country where the situation for Christians did not get worse, and that was only because the situation couldn’t get any worse than it already was.
And it will most likely come under few familiar terms: love, peace and equality.
Love Through Persecution, Persecution Through Love
The American government has been a continuous growing threat to everyday Americans. The fact we are all monitored, regardless if the data is ever actually used against us, is one blatantly obvious conundrum. And this will increase until it oversteps its boundaries into the most deeply-held views of a large chunk of its citizens.
Below is a snippet into a recent resolution bill being pushed by the state of California:
WHEREAS, The stigma associated with being LGBT often created by groups in society, including therapists and religious groups, has caused disproportionately high rates of suicide, attempted suicide, depression, rejection, and isolation amongst LGBT and questioning individuals…
Of course, as I went in to review pieces of the resolution bill documents, they were sure to update their mistakes and cross out LGBT to include the Q (LGBTQ) at the end, lest they act exclusively. And these are the symptoms of a godless society, which is increasing rapidly.
The pressure shall increase over time for the religious right to adhere to the False Doctrine of Equality and will be beaten down until they submit to the latest and greatest LGBTQ developments. Hollywood has done a rotten fine job of targeting right-minded folk for some time. These grand taskmasters of deception have actually brainwashed large chunks of the masses into believing right-winged religious folk are dangerous, delusional and utterly stupid backwoods-dwelling relics. And what are the real-life worldly affects of this anti-God indoctrination?
Consider this snippet about Pastor David Lynn, who was arrested for preaching true love to those of the LGBTQ crowd:
Pastor David Lynn of Christ Forgiveness Ministries was arrested on June 4, 2019 for preaching the Gospel publicly in Toronto, Canada. The neighborhood he was preaching in was Church-Wellesley Village. This neighborhood is known to be a place where many of the LGBTQ community in Toronto reside. His ministry is currently on an outdoor preaching tour throughout the 22 districts of Toronto. June 4, happened to be the day they scheduled for that district.
As they say, only the tip of the iceberg. And does it matter whether he preached love and the acceptance of Christ through his bloodshed, as he believes it, and the fact if they turn from their sin and repent they too can walk one day with Christ? Of course not. Where they put their sexual organs is of higher value than eternal life and the beauty of salvation. The article goes on to state:
The entire time of preaching was livestreamed via Facebook and can be found on YouTube. Throughout the video, it is surprising to see the reaction of those who were listening to Lynn’s preaching. The more love he poured out, the more hate and resistance he received. As anyone can see if they view the video, Pastor Lynn was respectful and kind throughout all of his time preaching. As he shared the Gospel, he also made statements like “We are here to tell you that we hate nobody.” He emphasized God’s love again and again.
Hollywood has become grossly offensive toward people of the way and has finally managed to invert Truth with falsehood, as such with even the most obvious facts of male and female anatomy and biology. The more Christians are seen as a threat to “democracy” and “peace” and “love” the more it will become necessary to stomp them out for the greater good.
Equality vs. The Way To Eternal Life
Authentic Christian belief is grossly offensive because it is, pointblank to say, exclusive. It is not exclusive in the sense that one sinner is unable to be reconciled to God over another, but exclusive in its truly narrow claim that there is only one way to our Creator, through His Son, Jesus Christ.
This faith comes with rules and an understanding that certain behavior is deemed to be sin, which is evil. And evil is simply that which is contrary to God and His nature. Consider this piece of offensive Scripture:
Galatians 5:19-21 (ESV)
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, 21 envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
These sorts of behavior are sadly encompassed in even supposed Christian people, let alone the worldly. America has molded herself into a state of utter femininity and has crafted into a corporate Marxist whore. In this New World Order where Leftism dominates pop culture, the major media propaganda outlets and education injection camps (once known as respectable universities), there is a simple term in which we now are being programmed to adhere to: equality.
Equality, by nature itself, does not exist. It’s silly to even think it, yet it is an unobtainable goal under operation, through government and their minions, to distort old-fashion conservative values, along with Christian doctrine, for this faith has long been the backbone of many of these American conservative values. Many Americans still hold to the delusion of “We’re a free country!” and consider anything which discriminates, even on personal moral grounds, as a violator of this freedom. The irony, of course, is that in order to obtain this utopia of “freedom through equality, equality through freedom,” it requires total submission under this New World System. By violent force, of course.
The blunt truth is this: when someone tells you that you are (or your lifestyle is) immoral, or you’re in need of a Savior, it offends. It causes moral anxiety, uncertainty about the Hereafter and Western minds rather not have it. The LGBTQI is perhaps the first group which comes to mind who gets rattled off with anger. If Christian doctrine holds any validity, then being a drunkard, a drug user, a (man)whore, a liar, a hot-headed snob, divisive hate-riddled chump, prideful, boastful in deeds, holding to some false moral superiority, a cheater, disrespectful to your parents, practitioner of the Occult and things related, or any other religion (Islam, Hindu, Buddhism, Mormonism, Scientology), then you shall never see the kingdom of God Almighty. Now that is bloody offensive.
Final Thoughts
There are many secular sources which refer to these trouble-makers who, in truth, were against all odds of ever succeeding outside the Roman Empire, yet managed to spread the Gospel throughout much of the entire world, as Christ said it would be. Consider Tacitus and what he wrote in regards to Christians. This snippet hails from Cold Case Christianity:
Tacitus (56-120AD)
Cornelius Tacitus was known for his analysis and examination of historical documents and is among the most trusted of ancient historians. He was a senator under Emperor Vespasian and was also proconsul of Asia. In his “Annals’ of 116AD, he describes Emperor Nero’s response to the great fire in Rome and Nero’s claim that the Christians were to blame:
“Consequently, to get rid of the report, Nero fastened the guilt and inflicted the most exquisite tortures on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judea, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome, where all things hideous and shameful from every part of the world find their centre and become popular.”
Many still dismiss Christian doctrine as mere fantasy. Many claim our faith is a Jewish hoax based upon legend or distorted facts. Despite all the manuscript evidence many Westerners today still deny even the possibility that Christ walked this very earth about 2,000 years ago. His name alone can offend and quickly change a person’s demeanor because of what He represents: that no one is good, and without Him, none see the kingdom of God. Those who do not wish to see shall never see. For many, it is too much of an inconvenience. And unbridled skepticism eventually crosses a line from seeking Truth to outright denying, or suppressing it.
I cannot begin to fathom what the latter generations will be willing to do to rid the world of such doctrine. Perhaps I too would’ve once turned against that which I now live to serve.
I was once blind, but now I see.
2 Corinthians 4:3-5 (ESV)
3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.
