Some are citing 8 U.S. Code § 1324a as a method that the Trump administration can use to end the presence of illegal aliens in America:

It is unlawful for a person or other entity—

(A) to hire, or to recruit or refer for a fee, for employment in the United States an alien knowing the alien is an unauthorized alien

There are more details of course — this is law we are talking about — but a powerful approach would be to use this law against anyone who hires an illegal alien, and then hammer them with fines until the behavior ends. This would raise the cost of illegal alien labor and the markets will subsequently reject it.
