Americans cringe at the idea of reparations because we have been told that our legal system has made everything right with foreign ethnic groups and that our endless bowing to diversity and equality will cure all ills. And yet, the issue appears time and again.
Two groups desire reparations. The first simply extends the Leftist idea of subsidies to demand more for those who are not thriving; the second looks practically at diversity and its fruits, and argues for reparations-with-repatriation.
Naturally that outrages the modern citizen. Why should he pay more for villainies of the past in which he had no part, to those who did not suffer them, who will then be moved away and not pay taxes? It seems like a bad deal.
This person misses the point. Reparations-with-repatriation concerns not the past, but the future, and is less worried about guilt than it is the survival of several peoples. It concerns itself with social order on two continents.
The most recent push for reparations has come from Ta-Nehisi Coates, who speaks in terms of restitution:
The case I make for reparations is, virtually every institution with some degree of history in America, be it public, be it private, has a history of extracting wealth and resources out of the African-American community. I think what has often been missing—this is what I was trying to make the point of in 2014—that behind all of that oppression was actually theft. In other words, this is not just mean. This is not just maltreatment. This is the theft of resources out of that community.
And once I started researching not just the fact of plunder but actually the history of the reparations fight, which literally goes back to the American Revolution—George Washington, when he dies, in his will, he leaves things to those who were enslaved. It wasn’t a foreign notion that if you had stripped people of something you might actually owe them something. It really only became foreign after the Civil War and emancipation.
Restitution, punishment, and other backward-looking notions are tied to guilt, and popular because they would chasten the white majority and force it to accept a position as guilty and therefore, perpetually in debt to the third world.
The people who see reparations as punishment want not only free stuff, but permanent access to the West so that they can take it over:
There is a lot of debate these days about whether the United States owes its African-American citizens reparations for slavery. It does. But there is a far bigger bill that the United States and Europe have run up: what they owe to other countries for their colonial adventures, for the wars they imposed on them, for the inequality they have built into the world order, for the excess carbon they have dumped into the atmosphere.
Today, a quarter of a billion people are migrants. They are moving because the rich countries have stolen the future of the poor countries. Whether it is Iraqis and Syrians fleeing the effects of illegal American wars, or Africans seeking to work for their former European colonial masters, or Guatemalans and Hondurans trying to get into the country that peddles them guns and buys their drugs: They are coming here because we were there.
Before you ask them to respect our borders, ask yourself: Has the West ever respected anyone’s borders?
If that seems extreme, consider that Senate Democrats are saying essentially the same thing when they demand amnesty for all and open borders style immigration:
We have an obligation to take action and give needed predictability and safety to people who are in an uncertain status. We need to stand up for the American values of compassion and diversity that have made this country stronger.
These ideas all come from the same place: remove those in power by draining their wealth to those without power, who will then become perennial supporters of the permanent Leftist Occupation Government (LOG) which will rule in perpetuity.
In other words, these guilt-based “reparations” and compensation have nothing to do with making society better, but are in service of white Leftists trying to beat back white non-Leftists. As usual, they make minorities a tool of their power.
That first group of reparationists falls into the typical Leftist pattern. The second group, however, which is not guilt-based, is looking instead at the future of civilization. In its view, reparations-with-repatriations ends an ongoing historical injustice, not merely compensates for a past wrong.
Those of us in the reparations-with-repatriation camp recognize a simple but eternal fact: diversity — of any form: religious, ethnic, cultural, racial — does not work. Civilization requires some degree of unity, and diversity obliterates this.
Robert Putnam proved as much with his study of how diversity destroys social trust, confirmed later by Danish and Swedish researchers. Since behavior is genetic, culture is genetic, and diversity destroys culture and therefore leaves only government, law, and economics to unite a nation, which creates an international shopping mall where cultureless grey people are herded by mall cops into a “universal” standard of behavior based on selfishness or “individualism.”
When we realize how diversity not only does not work, but that diversity is genocide, we see that it has to end. We can do this any of a number of ways, but we would prefer to do it in the gentlemanly fashion that sees all parties come out ahead.
For the West, that solution is reparations-with-repatriation. The West — America, Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand — belongs to the ethnically Western European people who created it. Everyone else must Go Back Home, and we will hit them up with some funding to make this transition easy and successful.
This is a forward-looking solution, not another shakedown (Coates), ethnic revenge (Mehta), or use of minorities as tools to control democracy (Pelosi). It says that since we cannot coexist in the same nation, we should part on as agreeable terms as possible.
Osiris Akkebala, who has distinguished himself as the most cogent Black Nationalist of our time, writes on similar ideas:
…those reparations/Repatriation that represents freedom to our Enslaved Afrikan Ancestors which can only come to them in the body of their Descendants, who today, has no respect for the sacrifices our Enslaved Afrikan Ancestors made and endured so that with the Reparation they did earned must be used to have freedom to be a companion with the Black Afrikans in Afrika and to have Afrika to be again for the Black Afrikans and to be governed by a united states Of Continental Afrika, and there residing in Afrika, the resurrection of the once dead Black Unified Afrikan Nation again, beloved.
Its time for a Reparation/Repatriation campaign to take place in America, not the reparation those phonies ass politicians be uttering, I am referring to the reparation/Repatriationthat will carry our Enslaved Afrikan Ancestors back Home to Afrika where the newly established State in Afrika will be established by and for the Diaspora Black Afrikans, we who will be there with a commitment to freedom, justice, and independence for Afrika and the rank and file of the Black Afrikan Nation, beloved.
While he sees a punitive aspect to reparations, he visualizes them as more importantly holding together the Black Nation and allowing it to return to Africa so that it may rule Africa and establish a sanctuary where African people determine their own future by their own standards, needs, and desires.
We might say that racism consists of looking at diversity and blaming one ethnic group for the failure of diversity, and whites fall prey to this because diversity is a result of our system of pluralism. Moving past racism, we can look at diversity and escape it, so that all groups involved will have their own sanctuaries and ethnic self-determination.
Akkebala is merely ahead of the curve. World Leftism is failing and will leave behind a vast debt and social disorder; people will escape it as they did the Soviets or National Socialists. Instead, we look toward a new world where nationalism rules.
For us to get to this world, we need to affirmatively split up our ethnically- and racially-mixed nations, repatriating each group with reparations as appropriate. For Africans, an additional consideration extends to slavery, in thanks for their labor.
While the usual idiots kick and scream about the idea of paying any more money to an ethnic group which has mostly failed to integrate, saner minds realize that integration/assimilation is a pipe dream, symbol and not reality.
We seek only a better future, and this is found in part by ending diversity through reparations-with-repatriation.
